WHAT IS A SEPAC? Special Education Parent Advisory Councils are state mandated advisory groups

Every public school district in Massachusetts is required to establish a SEPAC. Massachusetts state law assigns both an advisory and participatory function to SEPACs.  Membership is offered to all parents of children with disabilities and other interested parties.

The Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (NSPAC) meets regularly with District Administration and School Committee members to participate in planning, developing and evaluating the District's special education programs.
